FAQs

  • Our ideal client/partner is a B2B or B2C services company generating $2M - $60M in revenue with $1M - $30M in EBITDA/SDE. We have worked with businesses across 24 different industries, but our sweet spots are: elearning, SaaS, franchise, events, coaching/masterminds, and media businesses.

  • We are looking for business partners, not consulting clients so a typical deal for us involves a profits-only interest (not actual equity) of 10%, meaning we receive 10% of distributable profits ($10,000 min.) per month, plus 10% of the aggregate proceeds from a sale.

    Since our primary objective is to increase a company’s take-home profit by at least 2X in the first 90 days, we either pay for ourselves or we don’t do the deal.

  • Following a comprehensive onboarding and kickstart process, we will meet every 90 days (typically over Zoom) to review and plan your goals and strategy for the quarter as well as monthly (upon request) for shorter (usually 60-minute) Monthly Business Reviews.

    Outside of scheduled strategic planning and review sessions, you will also have access to Roland, Ryan, and the Scale & Exit team via Slack, email, text, WhatsApp, and phone/Zoom whenever you need us.

    Finally, you will also be invited to attend our Founders Board and EPIC Board mastermind meetings where you’ll get face-to-face access with the Scale & Exit team as well as other incredible entrepreneurs and business leaders.

  • First, we’ll need you to fill out this brief questionnaire so we can learn a little more about you and your company.

    Assuming you’re a fit, the first step would be to schedule a half-day paid consultation with Roland and Ryan. During this consultation, we’ll assess the current state of your business as well as its profit and valuation potential, and map out a “Scale & Exit Plan” to realize that full potential.

    At the end of consultation, we will determine if it makes sense to partner together to execute the “Scale & Exit Plan” or if it makes more sense for you to execute it without us.

    This process allows us to “date” before we get “married,” and it guarantees that you receive value whether we move forward or not.
